8 Step Upholstery Cleaning Process

Step 1- Pre-Inspection

This process involves carefully inspecting any specific areas of concern that may require attention, as well as noting the fibre construction and the soiling conditions present. This information helps us better understand what you specifically need and allows us to tailor our services to meet your expectations efficiently.

Step 2- High filtration pre-vacuum

Your upholstery will be thoroughly vacuumed (within the limitations of the fabrics) to effectively remove bonded dry soil. This essential step is crucial, as removing dry soil is one of the most important parts of the overall cleaning process, providing a better clean.

Step 3- Pre-spot

Any stains that are identified as potentially difficult to remove will be carefully pre-treated using specialized pre-spot techniques to ensure the best possible outcome. *

Step 4- Pre spray and agitation

The Pre-spray solution is carefully applied and massaged/agitated into the fabric. This process helps to effectively release the built-up soiling and various pollutants that accumulate as a result of daily life activities.

Step 5- Rinse & Extract

Once the soil has been loosened and suspended, our hot water extraction process will thoroughly flush the fabric. Pressure and heat are regulated so that the fibre is not over-wet. As we care about your upholstery, the fabric is accommodated to its cleaning limitations. Every piece of upholstery that we clean is PH balanced so that there is no sticky residue left behind

Step 7- Drying

Additional drying methods and tools may be employed to effectively speed up the drying times. This can significantly reduce the time required for moisture to evaporate, ensuring a quicker return to normal usage. Natural fabrics require speed drying to prevent celluosic browning

Step 8- Post Grooming

Where appropriate, upholstery will undergo post grooming to assist in achieving the best appearance of the nap and to facilitate the effective drying of the fabric. Velvet and velour fabrics may need extra additional drying and grooming methods to set the pile for overall visual appearence.

*Please note that any permanent stains that are identified during the cleaning process may not be removed completely.
