Rugs are collected and delivered back to you with an off-site rug cleaning service. Utilizing traditional methods, rugs undergo a thorough and meticulous deep clean that effectively restores them, bringing back to life the vibrant colors and intricate designs of these beautiful fibers.
Step by step rug cleaning process
Step 1- Pre-Inspection
Rugs are thoroughly inspected in the dedicated inspection and repair room, noting various aspects such as construction details and the types of fibres used. We take care to evaluate soiling conditions and identify any specific areas of concern that may require special attention or treatment.
Step 2- Dusting Machine
Using cutting-edge technology, the rug is put through an advanced automatic dusting machine that is remarkably efficient and removes a variety of dry dirt, including sand, dust, surface hair, and countless other suspended particles. The performance of this machine is exceptional, and no other equipment on the market can compare when it comes to removing such a significant amount of material from your rugs.
Step 3- Testing and prescribing
The rug is then carefully tested and this process allows us to select suitable cleaning products specifically tailored to your rug.
Step 4- The wet room
Rugs will be fully submerged in water, and by using the appropriate cleaning solutions as prescribed, they will either be carefully hand cleaned or treated with a gentle soft rotary machine. This process allows us to penetrate deep into the fibres, effectively releasing accumulated soil and dirt thoroughly. After this cleaning phase, rugs will be completely rinsed and conditioned to restore balance to the fibres.
Step 5- Reinspection
At this point in the process, your rug is carefully reinspected once again, making note of any of the areas that were previously identified as a concern.
Step 6- Centrifuge spin dryer
Your rug will go into a specialized centrifugal spin dryer, where clean, fresh water is carefully rinsed through the fibers until the water runs completely clear. The rug will be spun at high speeds until all moisture is effectively released. Employing this method is much kinder and gentler on rugs aswell as speeding up the drying process. This also helps to prevent any potential damage that could be caused by being left damp for an extended period.
Step 7- Drying
Rugs are carefully hung up on a custom-built drying rack, allowing for optimal airflow, and then blown with powerful air driers to maximize the drying times effectively. This thorough process ensures that the rugs dry evenly and are ready for use in a shorter period.
Step 8- Post Inspection
Rugs are thoroughly post-inspected for any remaining stubborn stains in the dedicated inspection and repair room. Depending on your specific requirements and the nature of the stains, various specialist stain removal treatments can be discussed.
